Young women invited to CSJ Mass

If you are a young woman who would like to experience an at-home Eucharist, followed by dinner and discussion of the readings in an informal setting, you are invited to join other young women and Sisters of St. Joseph for Mass on the first Monday of each month at 6 pm. These evenings are held at the home of a group of Sisters of St. Joseph, near Bloor and Spadina.

We hope you can join us in spending an hour with our Lord and with one another at St. John's Chapel at the Cathedral on the first Friday of August. As always, we will have the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, quiet prayer time and Benediction.
When: August 6, 2010 Friday, 7:00 - 8:00 p.m., doors open at 6:45 p.m. We ask that you arrive before 7:00 p.m. to minimize interruptions once the prayer has started.
Where: St. John's Chapel, beside the Rectory on 200 Church St. (on the NW corner of Church and Shuter Streets)

Hiroshima Day - Toronto City Hall, Peace Garden. The Hiroshima Day Coalition, endorsed by the Toronto Interfaith Council, will host an evening to recognize the 65th anniversary of the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Activities will include paper crane making, a reflecting pool lantern ceremony and peace commemorations on the evening of August 6 at the Peace Garden in Toronto's City Hall. Casa de Café: Honduras
