Finding Your Way: A Weekend of Discernment for Young People
A weekend of guided prayer and discernment to help the participants clarify the path that they will take in life. The retreat will focus on vocational discernment and on giving participants the skills of discernment. There will be an opportunity for conversation with a spiritual director. This program will use the dynamics of Ignatian spirituality. It is intended for young people between the ages of 18 and 30.
Directions from Toronto/Windsor – Hwy 401
• Take Exit 299 (Brock Road 46) to Guelph
• Travel north, straight route through town to the Woodlawn/Woolwich intersection.
(Please note that Brock Road, although a straight route, changes to Gordon St., then to Norfolk St. and then to Woolwich St.)
• Continue travelling for approx. 1 km north of the intersection
Directions from London/Detroit – Hwy 401
• Take exit 295 to Guelph and travel (Hwy 6N, Hanlon expressway to the end).
• Turn right on Woodlawn, then left at Woolwich
• Continue travelling for approx. 1 km north of the intersection
Directions from Niagara Falls/Hamilton
• Drive north on Q.E.W., then take Hwy 403W and follow north on Hwy 6 to Guelph.
• Continue north, past the 401 and follow Brock Rd (46) into Guelph. (See the directions for Toronto/Windsor)
Entrance roadway and location
Our Entrance is located on Hwy 6 approx. 1 km north of the Woodlawn/Woolwich intersection, on the left, (from Guelph), just past Marymount Cemetery.
Look for the Loyola House/St. Ignatius Centre/Orchard Park Sign, (street # 5420) and follow the Loyola House signs to the end of the road. Parking is available in the Guest Parking Lot as indicated by parking signs.
