To Live the Pauline Year: Imitating St. Paul as He Imitated Christ
Presenter: Fr. John-Benedict Weber, O. Carm.
Prior to his metanoia on the road to Damascus, Paul had been a Pharisaical Jew and believed that holiness came through one’s own actions in rigorous adherence to the letter of the Mosaic Law. After his personal encounter with Christ, Paul recognized that holiness is mostly God’s work, not ours.
Using the Acts of the Apostles and Paul’s Letters, this workshop during the 2008-2009 Pauline Year will walk with Paul to discover how he came to imitate Christ so that we might learn from Paul how to do likewise. “It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.” (Gal. 2:19)
Come celebrate the Pauline Year at Mount Carmel with this workshop
Cost: $50.00.
