Through Fontbonne Ministries, there are many ways you can volunteer with the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto:
In Good Company
In Good Company is a coordinated visiting program for individuals seeking emotional, spiritual, and social support.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Shopping for adults who are isolated
- Taking adults who are isolated to appointments as needed
Studio on the Hill
Studio on the Hill provides opportunities to work with clay in a safe, non-stressful environment. All are welcome: men, women, and children of all ages including people with disabilities and those who are visually impaired.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Assisting with children’s programs
Mustard Seed
Mustard Seed is a welcoming environment and sacred space for participants and volunteers to develop life skills, creativity, care for the environment and spiritual growth. This ministry offers educational and hands-on opportunities for school/college groups and young adults.
Volunteer opportunities:
- Assisting with program delivery and planning, including:
- Saturday drop-in, October to May
- Friday drop-in
- Volunteer placement for university students
Village Mosaic
Village Mosaic offers a welcoming space in Etobicoke for seniors to come together for hospitality, recreation, and community building.
