Desert Wisdom: Letting Go and Living Simply

Retreat Day on the theme: “Desert Wisdom: Letting Go and Living Simply” is offered on Wednesday, April 22 at 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. This retreat, facilitated by Sister Joan Driscoll, will focus on the wisdom of our desert mothers and fathers who can offer valuable insights for our lives today.

The Personal Retreat Days for next month take place on Tuesday, April 28 to Friday, May 1, and you are welcome to spend a day of stillness, or one to four days in the quiet of our Villa home.

Spiritual Implications of Climate Change

Climate change is widely regarded as one of the most important issues facing humanity today. What are the spiritual implications of this global crisis? This retreat will open you up to the inspiration of nature and help you to see and appreciate the diversity of life, thereby awakening the biophilia inherent in all of us. It will also explore how a shift in our outlook on biodiversity and a deeper understanding of the issues impacting it can go a long way in preparing us to change our lifestyles and have a more gentle and benign impact on Earth.

Women's Home-Coming Retreat

Come away for a time of healing and inspiration, connected with other women and the Earth. Our program includes: informal presentations, small-group sharing, indoor and outdoor contemplative activities, healing rituals, nutritious and delicious meals, and an ecumenical prayer service.
