Our January movie night is on January 26th from 7 pm to 10 pm at Pauline Books and Media.
This month our movie is Walk the Line starring Joaquin Phoenix and Reese Witherspoon.
Finding Your Way: A Weekend of Discernment for Young People
A weekend of guided prayer and discernment to help the participants clarify the path that they will take in life. The retreat will focus on vocational discernment and on giving participants the skills of discernment. There will be an opportunity for conversation with a spiritual director. This program will use the dynamics of Ignatian spirituality. It is intended for young people between the ages of 18 and 30.

Discerning with St. Paul

Discerning with Saint Paul is a mini-course for young women to grow in the spiritual art of discernment. Our fourth meeting is on this Saturday, January 17, 2009.
This Scripturally-based mini-course is made up of 10 monthly meetings (in person or via email) and includes:
* Monthly Scripture and prayer guide
* Shared prayer on the Pauline Letters and Acts of the Apostles
* Guided Eucharistic adoration

BXVI Apologetics Retreat
Building on the JPII Retreat experiences of past years, this year VEYO will be holding the “BXVI Apologetics Retreat” from January 29th-February 1st, 2009 at St. Peter-in-Chains Cathedral in Peterborough for youth ages 15-30.
This years retreat will focus on controversial topics in Church History including the Inquisition, Papal Infallibility, the Crusades, the role of women in the Church and the Church in Nazi Germany.
Mr. Anthony Schratz and Fr. Cris Graas of Opus Dei will be leading through the retreat.
