Theology on Tap - Durham

Event Date:
Tuesday, March 26, 2019 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm

Have you ever wanted to learn more about the Jewish history of our Catholic faith? Did you know that the Gospel of Matthew was originally written for a Jewish audience?

Join the Catholic Student Association - UOIT/DC on Tuesday March 26th at 7:00 pm for Theology On Tap Durham. We are so excited to be welcoming Deacon Mark Neugebauer to speak about the Jewish background to the Gospel of Matthew.

Deacon Mark was raised within the structures of modern Judaism and grew up attending synagogue in Toronto. He later became involved in a large Evangelical church. He entered into full communion with the Catholic Church in 2009 and was ordained to the Diaconate in May 2018. Deacon Mark currently serves at Blessed Trinity Parish in North York.

Come on out and bring a friend to this special night! The evening will begin with fellowship, followed by a thought provoking talk, discussion and a Q&A session. All are welcome to attend this exciting opportunity to discuss theology in a relaxed and comfortable setting!

Please note: free street parking is available after 6:00 pm and additional parking is available in the Green P lot located at the corner of Mary Street and King Street (next to Riley’s Pub).
