Catholic Young Adults Movie & discussion: "The Dating Project"

Event Date:
Saturday, November 24, 2018 - 7:00pm

We're having our second event in our Catholic Relationships series.

Catholic Young Adults need to know more about dating! Too influenced by secular dating culture, a plethora of good and bad courtship advice and their own instincts, Catholic dating needs to be different. Let's get talking about it!

Film synopsis:
"Half of America is single. The way people seek and find love has radically changed.
The hook-up, texting and social media culture have profoundly altered the dating landscape. Traditional dating has become "outdated," yet men and women still seek meaningful relationships. People are frustrated in love, but does anyone really know how to connect in today's virtual world?

THE DATING PROJECT is a new non-fiction film from executive producer Steve McEveety (The Passion of the Christ, Braveheart), produced by Paulist Productions, Mpower Pictures and Family Theater Productions that follows five single people, ages 18-40, as they search for authentic and meaningful relationships.

There is no script. There are no actors. These are real people trying to find love and happiness in an age of swiping left or right."

This is for anyone who missed the viewing in Mississauga or who wants to see it again!

Viewing of the film and some lively group discussions to follow!

Discussion facilitated by Candia Fletcher (Consecrated Virgin) who has earned a Certificate in Theology of the Body at Sacred Heart College.
