Christ and Culture: Mean Girls

Event Date:
Sunday, August 2, 2015 - 8:20pm

A chance for young adults (18-39) to engage culture from the perspective of the nature and person of Jesus!

Each of our Christ and Culture events are designed to open our eyes to the world of God's beauty as expressed in every person. With that in mind, we will discuss and open our hearts to Christ in one another.

This event will be held at Christie Pits Film Festival. We'll meet at the corner of Bloor Street West and Crawford Street at 8:20pm.

We'll watch Mean Girls, a classic movie for our young adult generation. Almost everyone has a scene they quote or a story about life when they saw it. Whether it's your first time seeing this movie or the first time this week, you will enjoy sitting down with your Faith Connections pals and digging into the fun times and conversations. We will talk about the movie and its effect on our generation, as well as lessons to be learned.

There is no seating, so you may wish to bring a chair or blanket and snacks if desired!

RSVPs appreciated — contact John-Paul Markides at or phone 416-467-2645.
