Christ and Culture: Pride and Prejudice

Event Date:
Wednesday, September 2, 2015 - 8:20pm

A chance for young adults (18-39) to engage culture from the perspective of the nature and person of Jesus!

Each of our Christ and Culture events are designed to open our eyes to the world of God's beauty as expressed in every person. With that in mind, we will discuss and open our hearts to Christ in one another.

This event will be held at TIFF in the Park in David Pecaut Square. We'll meet in front of the Royal Alexandra Theatre at 260 King St W at 8:20pm sharp. (If you miss us there, look for the Faith Connections sign in the park.)

We'll watch Pride and Prejudice — Keira Knightley headlines a marvelous cast — including Rosamund Pike, Judi Dench, Brenda Blethyn, Jena Malone and Donald Sutherland — in Joe Wright's critically acclaimed adaptation of the Jane Austen classic.

There is no seating, so you may wish to bring a chair or blanket and snacks if desired!

RSVPs appreciated — contact John-Paul Markides at faithconnections@csj-to.ca or phone 416-467-2645.
