THEOLOGY ON TAP: Interfaith Engagement among the Children of Abraham

Event Date:
Monday, November 24, 2014 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
All young adults (19-39) are invited to join us for an evening of thought-provoking conversation on theological topics!
Special guest: Dr. Shari Golberg, PhD.

From A(fterlife) to Z(ion): An Educator's Tales of Interfaith Engagement among the Children of Abraham.

Dr. Shari Golberg has a PhD in Religion from the University of Toronto and is the Director of a grassroots initiative called Shema & Iqra':The Jewish-Muslim Text Project, which uses classical religious texts to bring communities of Jews and Muslims together over issues of mutual concern. Her talk will speak to different models of interfaith engagement and how hot button topics such theology, law, and gender can be sources of collaboration rather than conflict amongst spiritually-engaged Christians, Muslims and Jews.
