SMC Alive - Prayer Gathering and Faith Formation

You are invited to join SMC Alive at our next Prayer Gathering and Faith Formation meeting on Friday, May 2nd, 2014.

Our guest speakers this month will be Charlie Min and Annie Dang. As financial consultants with Investors Group, Charlie and Annie focus their practice on helping young adults and young families to protect and plan for their future.

Charlie and Annie will be speaking to us on "Managing God's Financial Gifts" and touch on many topics including some of the following:
- stewardship
- act of faith
- tithing
- budgeting for young adults
- the financial planning process for young adults
- first time home buyer plans

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. for registration. Please ensure that you arrive no later than 7:00 p.m. to minimize interruptions of the Prayer Gathering and faith formation once it has started. Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Immediately following the Prayer Gathering, we'll be having our monthly social activity. This month, we will be having a Pub Night at The Firkin on Yonge located at 207 Yonge St. (between Shuter and Queen), a short walk from the Cathedral.

RSVP by responding to this email by 5:00pm on Wednesday April 30th. Please let us know if you can make it to the Prayer Gathering and to the Social.

If you would like to help out at the Prayer Gathering, please specify in which area (reader, candle bearer, thurible bearer, singer) All young adults in our age group (24 - 39 years) are welcome.
