Newman Centre - Raising Faith-Filled Kids Group

Event Date:
Saturday, February 8, 2014 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

Parents with young children and those who are expecting are invited to Parent Talk: Service Starts at Home

"Man cannot fully find himself except through a sincere gift of self” - Gaudium et Spes

As parents, we are called to recognize the importance of even small acts of service and to encourage our children to "make a gift of themselves" to each other.

ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS: Patrick and Carissa Douglas are blessed parents of 8 children, 10 years of age and under. Patrick works as the Director of Human Resources & Operations at the Newman Centre, while Carissa directs their little ones through homeschooling at their home in Sutton. Inspired by their Catholic faith and the incredible subject matter at home, Carissa created the ‘Little Douglings’ book series to share big truths of the faith in little ways. Her latest book is entitled 'A Gift of Myself'

There is no cost to attend this session but we will be collecting free-willing offerings to support this ministry. RSVP requested by emailing rffknewman@gmail.com by Wednesday, Feb. 5, 5:00 p.m.
