SMC Alive - Family Fun Fall Activities

Event Date:
Sunday, October 27, 2013 - 1:00pm - 2:30pm

SMC Alive will be running it's first service activity on October 27th. We have invited parishioners of St. Michael's Cathedral with children from the ages of 3 - 15 to enjoy an afternoon of arts and crafts and games. The event, called FAMILY FUN FALL ACTIVITIES,will run on October 27th from 1:00 - 2:30 pm in the parish hall, directly across from the cathedral. The children parishioners will be able to explore their creative sides and use their imagination through a variety of activities that we will have for them.
Since the event happens at the beginning of the week where we celebrate "All Saints Day", all of our activities will revolve around that theme! We have attached the flyer for the event to this email.

In order to run an event like this, we need lots of help. We are asking SMC Alive members for their help in making sure this event runs smoothly. We are looking for volunteers to help run the activities for the children and help with refreshments, set up and clean up.If you are free to lend a hand, please RSVP by Wednesday, October 23rd by 5:00 pm. This is a perfect opportunity for all of us to give something back to our Cathedral community. We hope to see you there!

This community event is not affiliated with Faith Connections, but we believe it to be of specific interest to young adults aged 18-39 and with a faith-based or social justice theme.
