Event Date:
Saturday, July 27, 2013 - 11:00am

Description:we need some help with folding 200 origami (paper) birds to be given out to our interfaith friends who will be coming to the North American Interfaith Network Conference (NAIN Connect 2013) this August 11-14, 2013. We will be giving out these blue birds at the end of the conference during an Interfaith Prayer Service as a symbol of sending forth into the world to do common good and to share our diverse gifts with those around us.Therefore, the birds will be in different shades of blue color. This communities “unity in diversity.” We are doing the common good with each of our unique gifts.

Folding these birds allow us to be in solidarity with our interfaith friends. You may even be able to
put your name on the bird to make sure that you will be praying and doing good with the interfaith friend who will be receiving this bird at the conference. I will be teaching you how to fold these birds if you don’t know already so not to worry. In light of this, I would like to invite you to a Origami (Paper) Bird Folding event.

Bring your friends too! Please let me know if you will be coming (vkwok@archtoront.org – Vivian Kwok,
