The Vatican Council and the Church Today

Event Date:
Tuesday, April 9, 2013 - 7:00pm

The Paulist Centre concludes its Year of Faith lectures on the Second Vatican Council with a presentation on The Council Today and Into the Future by Bishop William McGrattan. The Council formally closed on December 8, 1965. Then the real work of the Council began, with the entire Church engaged in implementing the vision of the Council. How does the Church today reflect that vision? What does it mean for the future of the Church? What challenges lie ahead as this ancient Church moves on through time inspired by the extraordinary work done by its leaders in Council at the Vatican 50 years ago?
