THEOLOGY ON TAP: Reading the "Signs of the Times"

Event Date:
Monday, March 11, 2013 - 7:00pm - 9:00pm
Special guest: Dr. Margaret Lavin, professor of theology at Toronto's Regis College.

We will be encouraged to engage the “signs of the times,” emphasizing Pope John XXIII’s call to respond to the needs of the people of our times. What does it mean for the Church to engage modernity? How is dialogue possible in a world full of ambiguity and paradox?

Dr. Lavin is the author of the book, Vatican II: Fifty Years of Evolution and Revolution in the Catholic Church.
