Cinema Divina: The King's Speech

Event Date:
Monday, October 24, 2011 - 7:00pm - 10:00pm

Film: The King's Speech

Theme: Exodus 3-4 & John Henry Newman: “What does it take to find your voice?"

The Pauline Cinema Divina series fosters our ability to view culture with the eyes of faith. It is a prayerful reading of a film in the light of the Scriptures, using the steps of Lectio Divina. This year’s series pairs a Scripture passage with a theme from one of the great Catholic spiritual writers, using excerpts from The Classic Wisdom Collection.
