EAT PRAY SHARE: Spring Roll

Eat Pray Share: SPRING ROLL

A program of Faith Connections, designed by Genevieve Anderson and facilitated by Sr. Pat Boucher, CSJ, as featured by The Catholic Register and Salt + Light TV.

Spring Roll is a new series of Eat Pray Share sessions where young adults (18-39) share a meal and personal insights about the spirituality of food, within an ecumenical context.

Participants take turns shopping for local food, preparing a meal to be enjoyed together, and taking time to pray and reflect on scriptural themes related to food.

"He had been made known to them in the breaking of the bread."
— Luke 24:35

Note: registration is required as there are a limited number of seats (filled on a first-come, first-served basis). The registration deadline is March 17. The cost is $40, plus contribution of ingredients to one or two meals by each participant.

The time is 6:30 to 9:15 for each session. (Cooking teams arrive at 5:45 to reheat food, and cleanup completes by 9:30 pm.) The dates include:

  • March 30
  • April 13
  • April 27
  • May 11
  • May 25

  • A seventh "outreach" session will be discussed and scheduled during the sessions.
