The annual Alternative Reading Week Days of Service is an intensive project-based community service event for student leaders to explore the concepts of learning through service, leadership for social change, and community development.
 
This student-led co-curricular service-learning program gives you the chance to learn more about the local region and various social issues, and to do something meaningful by contributing to community-defined projects during your reading week break.
 
The Alternative Reading Week Program consist of:

  • Pre-service training and orientation
  • Community service projects
  • Reflection and action planning

Join the Alternative Reading Week Planning Team to represent your student organization to play an important role in this exciting community service project or register as a participant!
