SKATE AND PRAYER
Faith Connections invites young adults (18-39) to join us for an opportunity to slow down with God and enjoy the beauty of winter.
Our winter "Hike & Prayer" event will be a Skate & Prayer! We'll be going ice skating at the new Colonel Sam Smith Skating Trail. It is the first city artificial ice rink that, rather than being a rectangular hockey rink, is a trail. It is loosely described as a figure 8 that winds through some of the park’s beautiful landscape. Read more at: http://news.nationalpost.com/2010/12/18/skate-across-toronto-samuel-smit...
Bring your skates and bring your friends and family! (This will be a family-friendly event!) We'll meet together by the change rooms.
Please note: There are no skate rentals available at the skating trail, but there is a comfortable change room and washrooms.
For more information, contact Kelly Bourke at faithconnections@csj-to.ca or 416-222-1426 ext 276. TTC: The (Kipling) bus runs right into the park and the Lake Shore street car crosses Kipling not too far from the park.
