THEOLOGY ON TAP: Aquinas Comes To Life
Faith Connections'
Theology on Tap
Aquinas Comes To Life
Special guest: Fr. Gilles Mongeau, SJ, Assistant Professor of Systematic Theology and director of the M. Div. program at Regis College.
Is there any reason to study the thought of a dead white male medieval theologian today? Come hear how Aquinas can be for us a teacher of wisdom and a guide for the spiritual life, even in the 21st century.
Born in Montreal, raised in Ottawa, and a member of the Jesuits in English Canada, Fr. Mongeau teaches courses in Spiritual Theology, Christology and on the Trinity at Regis College. He is a former parish priest and hospital chaplain, works as a spiritual director, and has accompanied people living with HIV and AIDS in Toronto and in Western Africa.
Join us for an evening of thought-provoking conversation on theological topics! Munchies provided, cash bar available - come and bring a friend!
