Faith & Film: Juno

Sixteen-year-old Juno finds out she is pregnant. After considering abortion, she decides to have the baby and find adoptive parents. Juno discovers through her pregnancy that the “thing” that she carries is a person and develops a bond with her baby. She is able to communicate this precious reality to the baby’s father and to the adoptive mother. The purpose of Faith & Film Evenings is to encourage theological reflection on movies: increasing media literacy and our ability to see culture through the eyes of faith.
