St. John’s Bible

St. John’s Bible. St. John the Evangelist Parish, in Weston (49 George Street). 7:30 p.m. St. John’s Parish will host an evening with one of the most remarkable religious treasures of 21st century. Sr. Gill Goulding, C.J. from Regis College will reflect on the topic  “We Never Pray Alone: The Ecclesial Contemplative” as she turns the pages of the Prophets volume of the rare Heritage Edition of the St. John’s Bible, the first complete edition of the Bible to be hand scribed and hand illuminated in over 500 years. See the same monumental book that led His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI to remark recently: “This is a work of art…a great work of art…a work for eternity.”
