Sr. Helen Prejean, C.S.J. will present the inaugural Martin Royackers Lecture entitled "Dead Man Walking: The Journey Continues". An introduction will be made by Fr. Thomas Rosica, C.S.B. Sr. Elaine MacInnes, O.L.M. will join Sr. Prejean to discuss the work of Freeing the Human Spirit and for a question and answer session moderated by Barbara Budd of the CBC. The Martin Royackers Lecture will be held at Regis College at St. Joseph Chapel on Tuesday April 20 at 7:30 pm. No advanced registration is required. Admission is free. Contributions will be welcome.

Liguori Circle is a time for Young Adults (age 18-30) and Redemptorists to come together to grow in faith and friendship through sharing God’s word, growing in their sense of mission in the community and in the world, and reflecting on the work of God’s grace and Redemption in their lives, and in the lives of the People of God.
Inspired by the Redemptorist founder, St. Alphonsus Liguori, these Circles are places of welcome, prayer, discussion, and fellowship.

A workshop on Freeing the Human Spirit and Human Trafficking in Toronto on Wednesday April 21st from 9:00am to noon at Regis College. The workshop features:
* The biographical documentary film "The Fires that Burn: The Life and Work of Sr. Elaine MacInnes"
* Freeing the Human Spirit volunteers will then explain the program of meditation and yoga they deliver weekly in Canadian prisons, followed by instruction in these disciplines.
* Sr. Celeste Reinhart, SSND will present "Set the Captives Free: Human Trafficking in Toronto"

The Newman Centre hosts a weekly Holy Hour on Wednesdays, from 7:00-8 p.m. in the Chapel, followed by an opportunity for people to celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation, 8-8:30 p.m. After the Holy Hour all are invited to share in fellowship (up to 9 p.m.)!
