World Youth Day - St. Peter's Square - Vatican Programming on Salt + Light Pope Benedict XVI gathers with the youth of Rome to hear their stories, answer their questions, lead a meditation, and encourage them on their Christian journey. This year the Holy Father also helps the young people of Rome prepare for the international World Youth Day gathering that will happen in Madrid in 2011.

The Good Shepherd Refuge is a ministry based on Catholic values that provides food, clothing, medical care, shelter and supportive progarms to homeless and disadvantaged men. In the past, our group's volunteering activities have included meal preparation, meal serving, sorting clothing donations, folding linens and making beds for clients. A complimentary lunch is included for our volunteers.

Young Adults in Action is an opportunity for Young Adults (age 18-30) and Redemptorists to come together and offer our talents, time and service to the poor and marginalized citizens of Toronto.

Each month we will explore a new facet of the social services provided in Toronto and will have a chance to meet and hear from the experts in those fields.

We will then examine what we have learned in the light of our faith and then launch into action with some hands on experiences that will be both challenging and fun.
