Young Adults in Action is an opportunity for Young Adults (age 18-30) and Redemptorists to come together and offer our talents, time and service to the poor and marginalized citizens of Toronto.

Each month we will explore a new facet of the social services provided in Toronto and will have a chance to meet and hear from the experts in those fields.

We will then examine what we have learned in the light of our faith and then launch into action with some hands on experiences that will be both challenging and fun.

SOCIAL JUSTICE GROUP: The Promotion of Peace

This week’s meeting will cover the fruit of justice and love, the failure of peace (war) and the contribution of the Church to peace.

Liguori Circle is a time for Young Adults (age 18-30) and Redemptorists to come together to grow in faith and friendship through sharing God’s word, growing in their sense of mission in the community and in the world, and reflecting on the work of God’s grace and Redemption in their lives, and in the lives of the People of God.


Inspired by the Redemptorist founder, St. Alphonsus Liguori, these Circles are places of welcome, prayer, discussion, and fellowship.

World Youth Day - St. Peter's Square - Vatican Programming on Salt + Light

Pope Benedict XVI gathers with the youth of Rome to hear their stories, answer their questions, lead a meditation, and encourage them on their Christian journey. This year the Holy Father also helps the young people of Rome prepare for the international World Youth Day gathering that will happen in Madrid in 2011.

See spectacular performances by upcoming gospel artists. Celebrate the recognition of exceptional individuals in your faith community. The Golden Dove Achievement Awards will recognize the accomplishments of over 50 individual contributors and artists from across Ontario within the Christian community. This inaugural event will feature a performance by one of Canada's top upcoming gospel artists Renee Rowe plus performances by select Golden Dove award winners. Formal dress attire required.

Palm Sunday is recognized internationally as the World Day of Youth.
