Integrating our spiritual identity and our sexual identity is a process that usually starts in mid-adolescence but is a journey of a lifetime. This process is a challenge for all, particularly so for those who experience same-sex attraction and are Roman Catholic. While recognizing the inherent dignity of every person, this presentation will explore the Roman Catholic teaching on sexuality, the psychological and moral dimensions of same-sex orientation, as well as the vital role of a well formed individual conscience in making moral decisions.
