Bioethics - For the People in the Pews
"FOR THE PEOPLE IN THE PEWS"
The Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute invites you to discover and examine ethical issues involved in our understanding of life and death from a Roman Catholic perspective. Our program is called For the People in the Pews. This program will be held in our parish every Tuesday night for 4 weeks starting September 22, 2009 from 7 – 9 p.m. in the Parish Hall.
The topics to be discussed are:
* What is ethics/bioethics and what are the issues?
* Beginning of Life Issues
* End of Life Issues: Part One
* End of Life Issues: Part Two
Dr. Moira McQueen, the Executive Director of the Canadian Catholic Bioethics Institute will be our speaker.
Registration will be required and the fee for each session is $10 for a total of $40.00 per person.
