The Dead Sea Scrolls are coming to the Royal Ontario Museum at the end
of June. The University of Toronto’s Newman Centre Catholic Chaplaincy,
Multi-Faith Centre, and the Centre for Jewish Studies, in collaboration
with the Royal Ontario Museum are coordinating a series of dialogues
about the Dead Sea Scrolls with spiritual leaders and experts who have
studied the Scrolls. The aim of these talks is to explore with the
community, especially students, the significance of these important
writings. The first of these talks will be a general introduction to
the Scrolls. Subsequent talks to be scheduled over the next few months,
including a talk by leaders of the three Abrahamic faiths in Toronto.
Dates and location sites to be announced.
