Soup for the Soul - Ryerson Catholic Chaplaincy

The goal of Soup for the Soul is to assist people to integrate faith with studies or work. Serving hot home-made soup, we create informal discussions over lunch-hour on various topics through short documentaries and guest speakers who can respond to your questions. Soup for the Soul is about making links between mind, body, spirit & earth. This week's Topic: Dancing with the Spirit: Her Story... Guest Speaker: Kathy Murtha; Retreat Co-ordinator @ Scarboro Missions, Toronto Come and hear a few stories of women saints and mystics from Christian, Muslim and Hindu traditions. Perpetua of Carthage, Rabi’a, Mirabai, Christina of Markyate, Jullian of Norwich and Margery Kempe – these are women who have lived profound lives and whose stories have seldom been heard. Join us for an interfaith celebration of women & the sacred dance!
