Stories of Human Failure in The Bible - Those who did not make it and "WHY"

What: 2 Lectures

Who: Speaker: Walter Vogels, WF, Emeritus Professor of Old Testament at St. Paul's  University, Ottawa and visiting professor in universities and institues worldwide.  Author of 25 books - his last books is: Biblical Human Failures

Description: The list of all biblical characters, men and women, in the Bible is very long.  People like Abraham, Moses and David are more central figures because of the length of their narratives and because of their importance in the Bible and in the later traditions of the three monotheistic religions: Judaism, Christianity and Islam.  They are success stories: people who made it.  But besides them are the stories of those who did not make it, stories of human failure.  The question is “Why”?
