Biography: Rev Damian Mac Pherson is a Franciscan Friar of the Atonement.  He was born in Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia and completed his graduate work in Theology at the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC. He has been stationed in New York, Rhode Island, Washington, DC, Oklahoma City, Windsor Ontario, Vancouver BC and Toronto where, for the past nine years, he is serving as Director for Ecumenical and Interfaith Affairs for the Archdiocese of Toronto.

The topic: Ecumenism Then and Now.  Pope John Paul II reminded all Christians that the Roman Catholic Church is irreversibly committed to the work of Church Unity. How is that effecting you?
