Eat Pray ShareDo you love good food?

Toronto foodies meet in a bi-monthly small group centered on sharing food, faith, and friendship!

Faith Connections invites young adults 18-39 to join us for sessions designed for food-lovers and others who want to explore the spiritual side of eating.

Creamy risotto paired with a stuffed Ontario turkey marinated in herbs and cooked to a tender and succulent state. The meal is accompanied with a crisp Riesling from an award winning Niagara winery complimented with a fennel and olive salad. Now that I have your attention (and appetite), the menu I’m so vividly describing does not belong to some five-star downtown bistro. These delicious plates were served up at the most recent Eat Pray Share program put on by the Faith Connections program of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto." — Alessia Domanico, Salt + Light TV.

Faith Connections' Eat Pray Share program was designed by young adult Genevieve Anderson. Participants meet every other week to share a meal and to share personal insights within an ecumenical faith context. We reflect on both scripture stories and current books/articles that link food with our spiritual journey.

The popular novel Eat, Pray, Love by Elizabeth Gilbert first inspired a motion picture — now it’s inspired a group for young adults to explore the spiritual side of eating." — Annette Gagliano, The Catholic Register.

There is a small fee to cover the cost of food, and each person is asked (as part of a 3-person team) to provide some ingredients and to help cook a meal or two.
