  • Discernment: Finding Meaning in the Movements of the Everyday – A Theology on Tap Reflection

    Written by M.J. Santa Ana

What is God’s will for my life? How do I know whether the voice I hear, inside me and from others, is of God or not? Where is God leading me and what is He calling me to? These are only some of the weighty questions that are associated with the fascinating topic of discernment.

Wake up. Shower. Breakfast. Go to work or school. Come home. Dinner. Prepare for the next day. Sleep. Repeat.

Does that sound similar to your routine? Chances are, it does.

Sometimes it's hard to even figure out where to go from here. Slowing down and tuning in to silence and reflection sounds like a nice idea, but the opportunity just never seems to present itself.

    Not until now.

  • Building Wealth with Biblical Wisdom - By Luke Petrolekas

At September's Theology on Tap, Peter and Jessica Galopoulos provided an invaluable introductory crash course in good financial stewardship. Money is as prevalent in our society as it was to the Jewish tradition of the old testament and the Roman Empire in Jesus's time. These experiences and the Wisdom of Christ on money are contained within the verses of the Bible and provide us guidance on financial management, prudence, and charity.

  • What is Living Faith? - By Juan Antonio López

In August of this year, I participated in the "Living Faith" Pilgrimage to North Bay. It was organized by Faith Connections and the Federation of the Sisters of Saint Joseph of Sault Ste. Marie. I wanted to share with others what my experience was like and what I learned about "Living Faith".

In a world full of distorted and unrealistic images of femininity, Katie has been working to empower these young women and help them recognize their beauty, worth, and potential.
