Connecting Ministries at the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto: Part 1

“When we seek to discover the best in others, we somehow bring out the best in ourselves,”

Connecting Ministries, Part I – The Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto

As 2008 begins, we look back at the previous year at the memorable experiences and connections that have come our way. One such experience was expanding our team to include Gadjo Sevilla, our Faith Connections’ Communication and Administrative Coordinator.

As part of the orientation, we visited some of the ministries of the Sisters of St. Joseph of Toronto and in so doing, learned more about the tireless efforts of these remarkable women. We connected with the many vibrant ministries and were introduced to inspiring programs that are changing lives and addressing urgent needs in society today.

We also learned a lot from seeing the Sisters of St. Joseph at work; they have given us hope as well as a renewed respect for the congregation and all its outstanding efforts. Connecting with each ministry proved both fascinating and inspiring.

We wanted to share some of this inspiration and will be posting our insights over the next few weeks.

This is the First part of an Eight part series.
